Hosting a Giving Party will provide your friends and family (and you) a darn good reason to head to the toy room to clean, sort and give! You will invite people to this party and ask them to bring new or gently used and clean toys, books, duffelbags and book for kids aged 1-20.
A giving party can happen at your work, your home, your church, the playground, wherever you are inspired to bring people together.
The stuff you collect will be turned into gift bags and distributed to foster children right here in the Kansas City area.
You will prepare for a Giving Party no different than you would for a jewelry party. Instead of eating, drinking, talking and shopping you will be eating, drinking, talking and giving! Giving Parties are an exciting way to de-clutter and collect toys that will delight a child.
Planning:
•Choose a date to host your party
•Create an invite list with e-mail or mailing addresses
•Send out your invitation and include our list of suggested item. GET THE LIST!
Before your party starts:
In addition to preparing food and cleaning the house like mad, you will want to
clear out a space on your porch or in your garage for the boxes of “stuff” that
your guests will bring.
After the party ends:
Give us a call and we will arrange a time to receive your donations.
